About Braking the Cycle www.brakingthecycle.org
Nearly 30 years into the AIDS crisis, people living with HIV still wake up facing each day without a cure, without access to proper care and, too often, without hope. It doesn't have to be that way.
Dare to imagine a world of people who care. Dare to absorb the love of old and new friends who want nothing more than an end to the scourge of AIDS. Dare to ride three days toward a better world. Dare to fight AIDS. Dare to join Braking the Cycle.
We are not just another AIDS ride. Over six years, we have built a family that loves and cares for each other year round. We laugh and cry together, we care for you like family. Each year more than two-thirds of our participants return. And together, we accomplish something amazing: In the past three years alone, Braking the Cycle has delivered over $1.2 million to fund the HIV/AIDS services of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. Along the way, we spread AIDS awareness in the towns and villages we visit. We’re a small ride, but we're a big family making a huge impact, and each year we welcome new members into the fold.

Good Wednesday, New York!
Despite the rain, the hail, the lightning and the frogs and locusts, we had a great turnout Sunday night for the final Bad Boys on the Hudson event aboard the Sea Tea. If you missed it, well, there are plenty of pictures floating around the unetverse .. but here’s a direct link to some of mine, taken by our Bingo photog A.B. Enjoy!

Naturally, just a reminder that there are all sorts of good things on this blog.. some erotic and some not. Most of it’s safe for work but parts of it aren’t. Just like life.
Now, about the white tee shirt.. you might have heard about the straight bar Turtle Bay barring a gay couple (one of them was hottie actor Nick Adams) from entering their bar on the basis that they were wearing white tee shirts.. you can read his blog account here (and as usual, the comments are a fun little trip, especially the ons from management) Read here at http://thenickadams.blogspot.com/2009/07/turtle-gay.html
So tonight at Bingo, wear a white tee shirt in solidarity with Adams and get a watermelon shot for just a buck! (OK so the shots are always a buck but I had to say something to encourage you all! LOL
I'm going to sleep on this and make more comments during the day tomorrow cuz I know I have something to say but am just too tired to think it. Til then...
