Men with accents are pretty much automatically hot.

Hot men with accents are irresistible.

Which is why I've been packing a boner for Barcelona based porn star Cristian Torrent for the past year or so since he popped onto my radar. Not content with simply being in others' XXX flicks, Torrent has set about making his own high def flicks ready made for perverts such as myself who like seeing hot, hairy, tattooed, muscle guys go at it with each other. Plus the extra added benefit for me at least - I don't know any of them so I don't bring some baggage to the table (a really big problem for me and U.S. gay porn I should point out).

The CristianTorrentTV site itself is easy to maneuver although the design is spartan.. one feels as though one's walked into a house that's not quite finished yet, but that's OK. What's important when having an unfinished website (although websites are never truly finished are they?) is that people feel that it's being attended to, and Cristian's certainly does.

There are some free clips which give you the sense of the types of guys are featured in his flicks as well as some performance stuff (like a really hot on stage show he did in Berlin) and some circuit party stuff. 

The circuit party stuff is kinda fun but it's kind of like telling someone else about a dream you had - I can get excited about the idea of it and because it's important to you, but unless you're there, it can kind of feels like my aunt Sonja's endless slide show to Madagasgar.

Still, for eye candy and circuit party appeal, it is interesting (and let's be honest, it's nice to see the reality behind the gay advertising campaign that not everyone there is a perfect 11 - because sometimes those folks just don't know how to have fun and who wants to be at a circuit party with people who don't know how to have fun??) and of course the music is fabulous. (the waterpark event looks amazing, I so want to go but geez I'd fry up before I even got out of the car!)

The stage show stuff is the biggest win here because that's not something you can find everywhere. In our post internet and post Tweaker age of staying at home for endless hours typing with lubed up fingers, it's really heartening to see that bit by bit the stage show for porn performers is making a comeback. It's struggling but its inching it's way back.

Plus there's some Cristian workout video lurking in the catalogue as well. Personally I dig that kind of stuff just because I like the idea that someone is multitasking and getting away with it. :)

I think the challenge to this kind of site that a consumer will most likely want to know is: for my $20/month, how do I know that there'll be worthwhile ongoing content? And that's a fair question to ask an one that doesn't come with easy answers... but if you think the type of guys are hot and you're feeling spendy, plunk down a twenty for a one time membership and see how much growth goes on and then you can determine whether or not you want to go for that ongoing membership ($20 for the first month and $15.99/month after automatically charged to your debit/credit card).

Bingo friend Mike Diamond is usually not at a loss for words so it's no surprise that his recent NEXT interview is chock a block full of the funny which you can read about by clicking here.

If you're in LA and you like gender bending comedy, then you can check out a new play that starts March 11th, THE BLVD which stars Lana Luster, an old friend of mine (uh a friend I've had for a long time not that she's necessarily old oh you know what I mean!). It's a Norma Desmond type story but with a drag and nude maid service twist (I think everything should have a drag and nude maid service twist) :)

Meanwhile, trouble brewed recently over at the Tom of Finland Foundation (also in LA) as they tried to sort through a sticky problem when they solicited pieces for their upcoming Erotic Art Fair Weekend (March 27 - 28)- does a piece that was a copy of a piece by Joe Oppedisano constitute original art? You can read the fascinating discussion here and I urge you all to read all of it.. an homage or ripping off a piece, you decide.. this is an issue that will become more and more relevant in the coming years as digital reproduction becomes more and more sophisticated. And then there's Hot House exclusive Corey Jay who, after literally running away to join the circus earlier this past decade (like around 2003 or so) has returned to doing the fisting movies that he loves so much for the only company he'll work for. Yes, it's time to get your tickets for this years Black Party (Saturday March 20th) now on sale.

Look, this thing is like a 15+ hour dance fest with all the hot guys in New York and surrounding areas in one place at one time. It's much like my apartment on a Friday night (I just shooed the last one out the door a few minutes ago - at least they brought handiwipes this time ... KIDDING.. or am I?)

Anyway, you say every year you're going to go but then you chicken shit out because you dont have six pack abs.. but honest to God, most of the guys who go are either so into their own shit that they won't notice you whether or not you look like a perfect 11 or they'll be so uhm in the party mood (I think that's an acceptable euphemism) that they wouldn't know you were there unless you took out your dick and smacked them in the face with it (which actually may be something you might like to try doing because they won't remember it anyway.. trust me, I know from what I speak).

Besides, the whole point is to go, be bad and have the time of your life and go home with some stranger at the end of the morning or the middle of the morning or mid day on Sunday or as the last mens are leaving in the mid afternoon just before the international ballroom competition people who do an annual event just after the Black Party in the space are coming in to clean up the floor with super strong cleaners (because they're no dummies, they know exactly what's up with the BP).

Just promise me that you'll pack a pair of sunglasses in your coat so when you leave during the day you're not bug eyed and crazy looking - because nobody going to the Sunday matinee of MEMPHIS needs to see your dilated eyes. (and trust me after the night you'll have, you won't want to see nice sober tourists lining up to spend the same amount of money on a two hour show that you spent dancing your ass off for 15. I'm just sayin)

SEXY SATURDAY: STEVE DAIGLE XXXPOSED

Well, while half of the West Hollywood porn stars are trying to become movie or tv stars or get on a reality shows, a star of CBS's BIG BROTHER, Steve Daigle, has done the reverse.. he's been lured into the lurid world of XXX gay porn! LOL :) Hmm BIG BROTHER huh?

THREE CHEERS FOR PRRRRRRNO BINGO!

So I guess I'm supposed to gripe about the snow but I just can't. I love it too much. Granted, I don't have to drive or really go out into it since I mostly work from home these days. I spent part of this afternoon actually walking in Central Park and got some nice pics. You'd think I'd never seen snow before despite the fact that I grew up in rural Wisconsin and spent most winters growing up in wet clothes tobagganing down hillsides.

Wednesday night at Bingo was a huge success and as usual the Cheer New York guys and gals took over the bar, cheering when people won and even doing a couple impromptu routines (geezus I thought one gal being hoisted up on top was going to go smash right through the ceiling - but no thankfully our insurance rates didn't go up. Well, this week at least. :) I also have to give them super props for being entrepenureal and seizing the opportunity to run coat check for the night. I love orgs who see all the possibilities available (and then go out and create a few where even I didnt' know they existed before!)

As is usual these days, the night was filled by the sounds and visuals of our newest addition to the night, DJ Baker, and is captured here by our fabulous photographer AB. You know this month marks six years that I've known AB who came to one of my first events here in New York and offered to take some photos to help me out. And now, virtually every week since then, he's still doing it. Mwah!

The deliciously sexy Torez stripped and raffled off his jockstrap for a whopping $180 which contributed to the $650 raised total throughout the night and Gusty Winds was her usual outrageous self for a couple rounds before bolting out to show up at Therapy for a drag emergency (some queen flaked out at the last minute... who was it, Diesel?) at Daniel Nardicio's Playgirl night where she was equally outrageous I'm sure. 

Of course no recap could be complete without a big nod to our performer of the evening Lovari who kicked ass and complained, rightly that our gay events (expos, Prides) often overlook the talent in the LGBT community in favor of straight people who are more famous. I think - if we don't support and encourage talent in our own community of our own people, what kind of 'community' does that make us?

Anyway, speaking of community another nod of thanks to author Damon L. Jacobs who comes to Bingo now and then to find people interested in working with Project Achieve in vaccine studies. :)

FOLLOW FRIDAY: MIKE RELM ON YOU TUBE

Today's Follow Friday is Mike Relm who makes all sorts of verrrry interesting videos that he posts on You Tube. They look sometimes to be studio sanctioned remixes but like today's COP OUT video it feels as though it's making an ironic comment about it - such as 'you thought this movie would be dumb, well, it is.. this is HOW dumb" although admittedly it makes me almost want to see it.

Notice I said "almost" (because you would have to pay me some serious money to see any movie featuring any of these leads.. and besides it looks like it's an updated version of MEN AT WORK which is the first movie in my life that I got up out of my seat 20 minutes into it, walked into the lobby, demanded and got my money back and walked out of the theatre.

I've left only one or two movies since then but have never asked for my money back (although I was tempted when I went to see I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY but felt that if I knew what I was in for and I still went just to be curious, I can't ethically ask for my money back.

Meanwhile MEN AT WORK was so anti-gay that I'm shocked that stars Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez - whom I loved in REPO MAN just a few years earlier which is what prompted me to see that piece of crap in the first place -  still have careers in 'homophobic - at the time - but still super duper gay' Hollywood. But I digress..

Anyway, whether it's parody or promotion (or .. yuck, both) the editing is quite amazing and something to marvel at.

POP CULTURE TUESDAY: ED HARDY BOYZ

The beautiful thing about having little else to do other than to blog and send out seemingly endless resumes is that along the way I come across some truly insane stuff (including a blog post at Video Gum about LOST that cracked my shit UP, read this recap from last week's ep) but it always eventually leads back to Funny or Die. I sometimes think I'm actually a straight guy in a Kinsey perfect 6 guys bod because I think the Ed Hardy Boyz is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.. it's six minutes, it's worth your time,check it out.
