I don't know about you, but my Black Party weekend was pretty awesome. I hadn't been in awhile and thought it would be fun to go again - I can't say I was wild about the music (sorry Saint at Large people) but it was functional for dancing I suppose... and truthfully I wasn't really paying attention to it as much as I was the many men who were intent on rubbing my chest all night long. Yum. You know it doesn't take gymnastics to make me happy.
And speaking of gymnastics, I'm sure you've heard all about the trapeeze act by now. Yes, two performers were lifted high up above the crowd in a silk trapeeze and then one proceeded to fuck the other. Not only is there something pretty spectacular about muscular naked men in a silk trapeezes, but then to have one fully hard fucking the other (and with a condom to boot) for quite some time, well, they said no cameras and even if I had wanted to bring one (who wants to schelp that shit to a dance party? although I did see that some people did) I wouldnt have been able to tear my eyes away long enough to get it out anyway. I have to say what was even more amazing is that I looked around at the crowd and hundreds of gay men at 5am just sorta stopped dancing and watched with expressions of incredible joy at the absolute beauty of a sexual act carried out in such spectacular fashion. Like the aliens in Lily Tomlin's show, the audience was discovered to be something to watch.
This was something a lot of guys were talking about the next night at the Alegria party held at the Best Buy Theatre (formerly the Nokia Theatre) in Times Square. While it felt like we were dancing at a Target or some pavilion at EPCOT (not a good thing I should mention, just in case you wondered.. the corporate signage all over the place sort of took away from the sleaziness of the party) the music was fantastic.
Wasn't wild about the lights though. Who's big idea was it to use as their light plot to frequently turn off all the lights in the entire auditorium which was filled with drunk (sure, let's just say that) gay men stumbling around? Next time provide us with glow sticks at least so we can see where the hell to put our hands (and where not to!!) LOL OK I suppose there's no wrong place to put one's hand in that crowd but still, it would be great not to stumble because I couldnt see a damn thing. And the cold jets of smoke shooting out into the crowd didn't wow me either. And yes, you kids, get off my damn lawn! LOL :)
It was nice to hobnob with a lot of tourists coming to the Big Apple for our party but it disturbed me that there weren't more New Yorkers at both parties. Oh sure, some of the usual familiar faces but continually disturbed at how unGay New York has become in recent years. I know there are hundreds of thousands of us here, but if they're not going out, where is everyone going (Atlantis cruise ships?). Both parties were definitely chock a block full of hot tourists and I'm happy to say that like our friends at Gray Line, I was happy to show people around (mostly to one specific part of town - my ass - kidding). :)
Anyway, with a little rest and a little food (eating and sleeping are good things) I'm up and at 'em for tomorrow night's big Bingo night to benefit our friends at Cheer NY! My special guests will be pop superstar Inaya Day and XXX superstar Alessio Romero who made quite the impression this past weekend at the Lucas Entertainment booth at the Expo.
We'll have theatre tickets to auction off and sexy underwear from Alessio and who knows what else will just happen!
The Will Clark Show featuring P*rno Bingo tomorrow night from 8pm to 10pm at Pieces located at 8 Christopher Street. There's no cover and the drinks are like the men that go there: strong and cheap. See you tomorrow night!
