Not only did I meet some pretty neat people this year, but I also reconnected with some old friends (er, maybe "longtime" is a better word choice?? <grin>) and at the top of that list is my pal Colton Ford who joined us for a rolicking night at Bingo a few weeks back and whose off Broadway show LITTLE HOUSE ON THE FERRY did bang up business!
This Thursday December 22nd, Colton will be performing at the Laurie Beechman(congrats!) and he has a new album out - proving as always that talent simply endures and enriches and deepns as time goes by. He just performed at Birdland (awesome!) and is I'm sure going to be hitting the road a lot in 2012. (and not for nuthin, man do I love Razor N Guido - they are cream of the crop!) :)
Here now are some thoughts from Colton about the coming year:
What do you want to be able to say looking back on 2012 on Jan 1st 2013?:
Worst New Year's Eve Ever: Can't really say. Don't think I've had a New Year's eve that I could cacategorizes "worst". Some were more exciting and energized then others, but I don't really put that much expectation on the night, so I'm good with whatever I'm doing!
