Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS is one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised over $195 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.
BC/EFA is the major supporter of seven programs at The Actors Fund, including The HIV/AIDS Initiative, The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, The Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, The Actors Fund Work Program, The Dancers’ Resource, The Stage Managers’ Project and three supportive housing residences.
BC/EFA also awards annual grants to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide.

Marti Gould Cummings is the co-founder of Broadway Speaks OUT which has given the opportunity to interview the likes of Liza Minelli, Rosie O'Donnell, Bette MIdler and hundreds of other celebrities about LGBT issues. BSO also produces concerts and events featuring Broadway performers that have benefited groups such as BC/EFA, Ali Forney Center, and Queer Rising just to name a few.
Marti starred off-broadway in the Drama Desk Nominated musical Twist and has been featured on 30Rock and Jeffery and Cole's Casserole on TV as well as featured in OUT Magazine, Advocate.com, Time OUT NY, The Village Voice, NEXT, and Gay City News.
About Destiny Devine
As a native New Yorker Destiny Devine has a wide range or talents and is taking new York by storm. Destiny has had the pleasure to work with some amazing producers in NYC Tom D'agora and Michael Duling in their hit show " ICONS" in Provincetown Mass. she is performing in venues in NYC such as , Griffin, Industry, Therapy, Posh, The Ritz and currently hosting her own Saturday night show @ Flavor Lounge a new bar in hells Kitchen. Ms. Devine can also be found in this week, and last weeks Next Magazine. She also performs and hosts shows at other NYC venues. Destiny really enjoys giving back to the community, whatever will make someone smile destiny is always there to make it happen. She says" I am looking forward to being a part of this BCEFA Benefit" I'm excited. I'm excited to be a part of this!
About Lauren Elder
Lauren was most recently seen dancing around and taking her clothes off in the Broadway and West End revival of Hair. When she's not doing that, you might catch her singing at a jazz club, or at one of the many benefit concerts going on around town. Lauren studied musical theater at Circle in the Square Theater School and is also a member of The Honeybuns, a jazzy trio with her two best friends.
