Marti Gould Cummings is the co-founder of Broadway Speaks OUT which has given the opportunity to interview the likes of Liza Minelli, Rosie O'Donnell, Bette MIdler and hundreds of other celebrities about LGBT issues. BSO also produces concerts and events featuring Broadway performers that have benefited groups such as BC/EFA, Ali Forney Center, and Queer Rising just to name a few.

Lauren was most recently seen dancing around and taking her clothes off in the Broadway and West End revival of Hair. When she's not doing that, you might catch her singing at a jazz club, or at one of the many benefit concerts going on around town. Lauren studied musical theater at Circle in the Square Theater School and is also a member of The Honeybuns, a jazzy trio with her two best friends.

Dear Kathy Griffin,
I have heard that you are performing your one-woman show in New York and I'm really excited to see it.
A couple years ago the BF (that's my slang for my 'boyfriend') and I skipped the Oscars to see your show in mid town. We were waaaay far back and watching you on the big screen. It was like watching your TV show - but having to pay a hundred dollars for it. That's OK because, Kathy, I dig you.
No, not in 'that' way. I dig your humor. I understand exactly why it's funny that you'd spread a rumor that Dakota Fanning was going to rehab. That's good shit.
Last summer, when the paperback edition of your book came out, I picked it up before a flight to LA and finished up just as we were landing. You have written the absolute perfect trans-continental book
Anyway, I host a little weekly fundraising event here in New York City every Wednesday night called The Will Clark Show (featuring P*rno Bingo) ... and the Wednesday before the opening of your show (March 9th) is not only a benefit for Broadway Cares -but it's also my birthday.
Kathy, I will only tell you my age when it comes time for you to spank me - one for every year I've been alive. I may have to lie and tell you that I'm ten years older than I actually am. BTW my Wikipedia page tells the wrong year of my birth (and at least it's only that.. it used to contain many other mistakes, such as that I'd gone to rehab - not true of course because who has the time for that with a weekly show for the past six years?) which is weird because usually the crazy fans that put these things together want to make their porn stars older than they are, not younger. But whatevs. I can live with it.
But back to my show - I would love to have you as a guest to call a round of numbers and help raise some big bucks for Broadway Cares. I realize you have had a TV show, and have been and are on Broadway and have better things to do on a Wednesday night like watch Matthew Perry in his new comedy MR. SUNSHINE, but I hope you will consider joining us. The show is from 8pm to 10pm and a single round takes about 20 minutes. If you do a line before you come, we might be able to get through the round faster.
This would mean a lot to me not only because I'd look like a stud in front of other promoters in town
but I would have crossed yet one more 'get' off my list (next: the NY Lottery woman, Yolanda Vega).
We will get you drunk and hold back your hair when you vomit (scout's honor) and, you know, Tony voters like it when stars do charity work.
