Good afternoon peeps! For those of us in New York, today was yet another beautiful summer day - even if yes, technically summer is a month away (and by the way June 21 which is Midsummer's Day is also our friend Kylie Edmond's birthday, more on that in the coming weeks).

Speaking of summer, the weekly Sea Tea party aboard the Queen of Hearts gets going in just a month - on Saturday June 23rd and Sunday June 24th as the Sea Tea revs up it's engines for another season of sailin', dancin' and lots of fundraisin throughout the summer.

For the 9th year in a row, the Bad Boys will be sailing - featuring Michael Brandon and DJ Jonny Mack along with a cast of hotties who'll join us to again raise funds for our friends over at Braking the Cycle! :)

This year you can save tons of cash by buying a season VIP pass for the summer but only until June 1st - so you have about 10 days to get it together and pony up the $99 that'll get you into a full season's worth of parties. If you go to just five parties over the summer, you've more than made back that investment and with the VIP you never have to worry about getting turned away at the door again.

And best of all, with the VIP pass, you can also bring a friend. So really this is an incredible value. 16 parties for a fraction of the cost. Hurry though, supplies are limited.

Happy Saturday to everyone out there! I'm writing to you from the beach in Sayville- stayed with an old roommate who now lives out here - and this afternoon I am making my first trip of the season out to Fire Island for a big birthday blowout tonight. I've been invited to this party in the past but never have been able to make it but am looking forward to it - I could use a night of dancing and debauchery.. don't you think? :)

The Will Clark Show kicked ass this past Thursday night with Terese and Shaynee rockin the house and Vito making all the men swoon with dreamy eyes and a thick hairy chest... OK I have to stop thinking of that - I haven't even had breakfast or anything.. food before sex! (I would make some comment about how I think of food first before sex as I get older, but I'm pretty sure that food has always been my priority.. I'm the guy who, in the middle of an intense orgy will be all like "hey, can I get a sandwich?" Yeah, I'm that guy) :)

My other highlight of the week was getting interviewed on the podcast, THIS SHOW IS SO GAY where apparently I announced my candidacy for the Mayor of New York. Hey less competent people have run (and won) over the years so what the hey? However, living on the east side in Gracie Mansion would be a drag because geez, it's going to be a long time before the 2nd Ave. Subway is completed... maybe they'd let me stay on the upper west side in my fourth floor walk up rent stabilized apartment? You can hear more about my sole platform by listening to the show. Thanks to Ken who runs the show - that man is such a great interviewer - I used to say that I would never do an interview again (and hey, Ken, thanks for bringing THAT up!) but you know, with Ken, well, it's easy to be fabulous, charming and coherant. :)

BTW you'll notice little hyperlinks spread around the blog.. it's some new feature that Typepad offers and I'm kind of thrilled and kind of nervous that it's taking you to weird places on teh internets.. you know, like the Catholic League website or a Rick Santorum fan page or something. :)

I'll be back online bright and early Monday morning and in the meantime, here's a picture of Vito Gallo from Thursday night. My usual photographer, AB was not with us so I had to fend for myself - do you know how hard it is to do a show and take pictures of it at the same time? So I did manage to get this one pic of Vito but thankfully there is an awesome photog that works with the Ritz and he got some great snaps.. I'll be snagging those and posting them early in the new week.

In theory, it 'should' have been a no-brainer - relaunch the event, dive into blogging since new folks will be coming to the site because of the new venue, word getting out, etc. And of course the past few weeks didn't work out like that! :)

Thanks to all of you who have been religiously checking out the site (I see you on my stat counter!) and apologize for taking a longer than expected break between postings. It's been more of a time issue than not having anything to say (I mean, really, do you think I am ever at a loss for words?). 

Thanks also to all of you who joined us for the first night last Thursday. It was a blast and yes, pictures will be posted soon. :)

And tomorrow night, Thursday April 26th, I've got a great Will Clark Show for you all - jazz/cabaret singers Terese Genecco and her fiancee Shaynee Rainbolt will perform and call a round each and we'll be joined by Lucas Entertainment stud Vito Gallo who'll set your heart (and other places) on fire. And all the proceeds from the night will go to benefit Marriage Equality New York who are still working hard not only to maintain and preserve the victory that we have achieved last June, but also to help neighboring states to get Equality too.

That's at 7pm at THE RITZ located at 369 W. 46th Street in midtown near Ninth Ave. on Restaurant Row.

Welcome to Tuesday peeps! Hope you had a great Easter weekend -I spent it here working on a project that I"ll be talking about on Thursday this week (just 48 hours away..ack!) but hopefully you had a weekend filled with much more fun than sitting at a desk staring at a computer screen! :) Actually it was also nice to catch up posting Bingo pics.. later today I'll post last week's fun night with Joe Zaso, Raine Brown and the incredible DiSanto!
