Good morning peeps!
Hope you all had a great week - mine was kind o a pain in the butt, but it ended last night with seeing THE AVENGERS with the GEEKS OUT group. Now these are the kinds of guys you want to see this type of movie with - they cheer at the right places, applaud at in-jokes and stay and don't talk through the credits. Best of all, the drinks were happening afterwards at Nowhere where everyone discussed minutiae of the film.
Marvel really knows what they are doing with these flicks - they make good inter-connected entertainment and the flicks make buckets of money - why can't DC Comics get their head out of their butts and do the same with their amazing properties? (Dark Knight -good. Green Lantern - stinky and a JLA movie just sort of writes itself - get it together DC!!)
The best thing about coming home wasn't a comfy bed but was seeing the video shot by photographer Gustavo Monroy at Thursday night's Will Clark Show at our new home at The Ritz of one luckie patron getting to undress our guest of the night, stripper Jay Roth. Oh Jay. You make me a little cray cray; I just want to pick you up, sling you over my shoulder and take you back to my cave. Is it hot in here?
The video is of a patron undressing Jay (which went for nearly $300 and they didnt' even get to keep any of the clothing.. awesome).
And while I frankly think that the video is skirting around the edge of You Tube's terms of use, it's my event but not my account so enjoy it while you can because who knows how long it'll stay up.:)
