Oh if you've seen any of Molly 'Equality' Dykeman's shows here in New York, you know that she's a delicious mess - a lesbian poet and security guard who has a peculiar way of saying 'vagiiiii nah!'
And on Saturday December 8th and on Friday December 21st (you know, the day the world ends and also the shortest day of the year), Molly brings her second annual Xmas/variety show, HAPPY MOLLYDAYS, to the Laurie Beechman here in New York.
There are burlesque acts, there is some audience participation (and prizes!) and her backup singers, the Mollettes.
And on the December 8th show, I'll be a featured guest - oh the appearance will no doubt be all kinds of tragic but hey, I live for that shit. Village Voice columnist Michael Musto will also be on hand as will comic Rick Younger (he appears regularly on the TODAY SHOW with Kathie Lee and Hoda) and burlesque diva Bambi Galore.
YO, you should get your advance tickets now as I'll probably be doing something horribly embarrassing and you want a front row seat to that!! :)
