It's become an annual tradition - going up to the Bronx on a cold December's night to enjoy the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance's Xmas show - LOS NUTCRACKERS: A CHRISTMAS CARAJO, a queer Latino play about a gay couple that rediscovers why they first fell in love with the help of a sexy Christmas angel! There's performances by drag queen Appolonia Cruz who offers up some holiday glam to brighten up your holiday and a cash bar for some holiday cheer. Directed by Mark Finlay and written by BAAD co-founder, Charles Rice-Gonzales.
There are only 7 shows starting TONIGHT November 30th and running Sat Dec 1st, Thursday December 6 - Saturday December 8, and then Friday December 14th and Saturday December 15th. All shows are at 8pm. Tix are $25 and can be purchased by clicking here. There are discounts for seniors, students, groups, BAAD, BCA and NALAC members and Bronx residents.
